I have been a hygienist for over 30 years with over 27 years experience in a periodontal office. I am a graduate of St. Petersburg Jr. College and received my local anesthetic license in 2015 from Palm Beach College. In the past I served as a delegate for the State of Florida's Hygienist Association and a two time past president for my local chapter. My philosophy is that “you can't expect change if you don't get involved in your profession.” In 2005 I was awarded the "Hygienist of the Year Award" from the Polk County Dental Association.
In my years of experience I can attest to the fact that oral health affects the overall health of your entire body with studies showing links to diabetes and heart disease. Regular checkups, cleanings and maintenance appointments are crucial and working together we can achieve optimal oral health.
My biggest accomplishment is being a working mother while raising my three children with my husband Kevin of almost 30 years. I am an animal lover and adopted two rescued cats and have two very spoiled dogs. I love spending time with family and friends, traveling, and going to the beach.
